Kimberly Gagliano is a Williamsburg, VA based photographer who works in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.  I am also willing to travel to most destinations.  Travel charges will be applied to all services outside of a 40 mile radius.Please feel free to message me and I will be happy to capture your memories forever in time.

 

 

A quick bio.

I fell in love with photography when I was 24.  I was walking through a second hand shop one day in the summer, when I discovered an old manual film camera for sale.  It ended up being my first camera.  A Petri 7s.  It had a wide aperture a f1.4.  And this was the camera that I used to start the process of learning photography.  It was difficult to use, but I was glad to have it.  I think moved onto a Pentax K1000.  And bought all the darkroom equipment that I could find. In order to advance my education, I studied photography at Thomas Nelson Community college. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associates in Applied Science Degree from Thomas Nelson Community College in 2008, and since then I have been a freelance photographer.  I love to shoot weddings, bands, and portraits.  I have been told my style is very Gary Winogrand.  In all actuality, my goal is to capture who the true person is through a series of what I call ‘Posed Candids.”  In order to capture the real you and truly capture all the beauty you have, it is important that you are comfortable with me and enjoy the process.  I want you to be completely relaxed.  I love working in the studio, but, I specialize in location photography.  Outdoor shots are some of the best shots I have ever taken.  And natural light is always best.  Feel free to ask me any questions, you may have.  I love talking about photography and I would love to capture your memories.
